The Meat Box delivery info
The Meat Box works with NZ Post to offer nationwide coverage for meat delivery. Meat comes with ice-gel packs in a wool lined box, all recyclable and keeping meat cool up to 12 hours. You choose the delivery and there are plenty of options starting 72 hours from placing your order (as meat is cut to order). Delivery fees are as follows:
✔ North Island flat $8.00 delivery fee on orders <$150
✔ North Island FREE DELIVERY on orders $150+
✔ South Island $15.00 for 5kg and $5 per kilo above that

The Meat Box was started by a Kiwi couple, Rick and Lisa with the goal of giving people more free time, while also being able to enjoy high quality fresh food. Over more than five years Rick and Lisa established relationships with New Zealand farmers and grew into New Zealand’s leading online butcher winning many awards along the way including Westpac Business Awards. In 2022 The Meat Box was acquired by another husband and wife team, this time Wayne and Melanie Kennerley, of Kennerley Retail Investments.
