COVID 19 update from the team at FED.
We want to reassure our FEDDIES of the safety of our production processes. We already operate under a strict food control plan from MPI but we have taken additional steps to increase the health and safety of our production at this time.
Our chefs are in full isolation and travel only between their homes and our kitchen facility. We have a new sign in procedure where we keep a log of their movements. We have organised a grocery delivery for our team so that they do not need to visit a supermarket.
They are temperature checked on arrival each day and wear gloves and masks throughout production. Clothes are freshly laundered and changed into inside our facility.
We work with a third party delivery company called Urgent Couriers. All of our deliveries will be contactless and drivers will be gloved. Delivery vehicles are disinfected before delivery runs.
We have simplified our menu to allow for personal distancing in our kitchen and to manage the demand.
We have switched to a fully sealable aluminium foil tray. This can be heated in the oven and microwave. Sleeves may look different in the short term. As we have changed up our menu a little and printing facilities are limited in the lock down.
